Terms of use

This is an unreviewed draft These terms have been drafted from what the software actually does, but they have not been reviewed by a lawyer. They are published so you can see what we intend, and they will be replaced by a reviewed version. If anything here matters to a decision you are about to make, ask us first.

Agrent is farm-record software. These terms describe what the service does, what we expect of you, and what you can expect of us.

Draft version 2026-10-07-draft

Who you are agreeing with

The service is operated by the organisation that runs this deployment. They are the controller of the data you enter, and their contact address is on the privacy notice.

What the service does

Agrent keeps the records a Bulgarian farm has to keep, and some it is useful to keep: the БАБХ journal and its printable form, cadastral parcels and modelled soil, lease and rent registers, grain contracts and storage, and a marketplace for buying and selling.

It is a record-keeping tool. It does not give agronomic, veterinary, legal, tax or financial advice, and nothing it calculates or suggests is a substitute for a professional's judgement or for the obligations the law puts on you directly.

Your account

You need an account, and one person's account belongs to that person. Keep your password to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has it.

The information you give about your farm has to be accurate, because some of it leaves the software: an ЕИК goes into register exports, and a journal entry can become part of a document an inspector reads.

Verifying your farm

When you give an ЕИК we check it against the public commercial register and then a person reviews the claim. Until that review finishes your farm works normally but is not marked as verified, and submitting an ЕИК is not a claim we have accepted it.

If two farms claim the same ЕИК, the one already verified keeps it and the other is told the claim is disputed. We will ask for evidence rather than decide between you on our own.

Your records are yours

What you enter about your farm stays yours. We store it to run the service for you, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with another farm. You can export it and you can ask us to delete it.

The exception is something you deliberately send: if you ask a supplier for an offer, the request carries your name and your message to that supplier, and the privacy notice says exactly what.

What you may not do

Do not use the service to break the law. Do not upload someone else's personal data without a reason to hold it. Do not claim a farm or an ЕИК that is not yours. Do not try to reach another farm's records, probe the service for weaknesses without asking us first, or automate your way around a limit we have set. Do not post, in the marketplace or anywhere else, content that is unlawful, misleading about what is for sale, or abusive towards another person.

How we moderate, and how you can object

We moderate the parts of the service other people can see — marketplace listings, messages between parties, and anything you publish about your farm. Your own private records are not moderated.

Moderation is done by a person reading a report, not by an automated system that decides on its own. We use automated checks only to flag things for that person to look at: uploaded files are scanned for malware, and obviously invalid identifiers are refused at entry.

If something breaks the rules above we may hide it, remove it, restrict an account's access to the public parts of the service, or in a serious or repeated case close the account. We will tell you what we did and why.

If you think we got it wrong, reply to the notice we sent you and a person will look again. You can also complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Consumer Protection, or go to court; using our process first is not a condition of either.

If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us at the contact address below. We will look at every report and tell the person who reported it what we decided.

What we do not promise

The service is under active development. Features change, some are incomplete, and there will be interruptions. We aim to keep your data safe and the service up, but we do not promise it will be available at a particular moment or free of faults.

We take a daily backup and we test restoring it, so the most we would normally lose is a day. That is a real limit, not a formality — if your records matter to a deadline, keep your own copy too.

Ending it

You can stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will say why. If we stop running the service we will give you notice and time to export your records.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change we will show you the new version and record which version you accepted. Continuing to use the service after a change does not by itself count as accepting it — we will ask.

Responsibility

We are responsible for what we do wrong. We are not responsible for a decision you take on your farm, for a penalty that follows from information you entered incorrectly, or for what another party does in a deal you made through the marketplace. Nothing here limits a right you have under Bulgarian law that cannot be limited.

Which law applies

Bulgarian law, and the courts of Bulgaria. If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the law where you live.
